This collection of four bespoke cosy cabins offer couples or small groups a delightfully peaceful place to stay in the Brecon Beacons. Each cabin is tucked away in a tranquil slice of the woodland estate, meaning you can rest and unwind in private, escaping all the trappings of day to day life.

When you arrive, drop your bags off in your cabin and get comfy outside in the fresh country air. Read a book swinging in your hammock as your loved one lights the firepit. Then, when the flames are crackling, enjoy an evening tipple warming your toes in front of the fire. The firepit also comes with a grill, meaning it doubles up as a BBQ for you to use during your stay. Outside, you’ll also find a dining area that sets the scene for wonderful summer lunches as you take in your peaceful surroundings. To top things off, each cabin also has its own outdoor bathtub, offering the perfect place to unwind after a day out exploring the area.

Stepping inside, each cabin offers a unique living space, featuring a sofa at one end that sits next to huge glass doors with a Smart TV connected to Netflix. The glass doors perfectly frame the woodland views, and when the weather’s warm you can swing them open letting the outside in. At the other end of the cabin sits a kitchen area, where you’ll find a kettle, toaster, two-ring electric hob, microwave with an oven and grill and a fridge with a small freezer compartment.

Just off the kitchen space is the sleeping area, where you’ll find a super-comfy king size bed on the ground floor, and a second king size mattress tucked away up some steps in the mezzanine. This means that each cabin can comfortably sleep four guests making them ideal for couples and small families.

When it comes to filling your days here at Ffynnonau Woodland Cabins, you can gather around the fire pit under a starry sky, explore nearby rivers, hillsides and waterfalls, or take on the challenge of climbing a mountain. The Brecon Beacons National Park offers endless opportunities, from horse riding to scenic hill walks.

Families will find plenty to enjoy in the nearby town of Brecon, from the educational and fun-filled Cantref Adventure Farm to the fascinating National Showcaves Centre for Wales in the upper Swansea Valley. For golf enthusiasts, both Cradoc and Brecon Golf Clubs are just a short five-minute drive away.
