You should know

You can book the whole site to sleep up to 30 or individual barns for smaller groups.
Guests are required to prebook sessions for both the Gym and Spa facilities, details on how to do this will be sent seven days before your stay.
The owners ask that you check availability of the spa before booking if using the hot tub is a priority during your stay.
Dogs are welcome in all barns other than Garden Suite & Lavender Room at a cost of £10 per dog per night.

Creeksea Place Barns offers you and your loved ones a big group getaway in the stunning Essex countryside. This collection of eight beautiful barns is ideal for your next family reunion or celebration with friends. With an onsite cafe serving breakfasts, lunches, coffee and cake, as well as a fantastic, state of the art gym and spa, this wonderful retreat has it all. The entire site sleeps up to 30 guests when booking exclusively, however, you are also able to book for smaller groups and book individual barns or combinations.

The barns sleep between two and eight guests each, with all of them offering bucket loads of rustic charm and modern amenities. Think exposed wooden beams, comfy living areas and nicely equipped kitchens. After a day out exploring the area you can get comfy on your big sofa with a good book, for a bit of peace and privacy.

However, if you’re booking the entire site, then you may all wish to mingle in The Granary, the largest barn on site, or gather together outside in the shared communal gardens. Here there are plenty of alfresco seating and dining options, meaning you can enjoy long hearty dinners as a group or social evening drinks that stretch into the night.

At night, the calming and peaceful bedrooms all feature comfy beds whilst many of the rooms have ensuite bathrooms for added privacy.

You and your loved ones will also have access to the amazing gym and spa. Here you can enjoy a workout using the cardio or weight equipment, before indulging in a relaxing soak in the luxurious hot tub. There’s also a salt therapy room in the spa, and you can also pre book beauty and massage treatments.

Also on-site is a fantastic cafe, where you can pop in for hearty breakfasts and delicious lunches. The cafe also serves coffee and cake throughout the day, is fully licensed and has a large garden! On site they also have a dog cafe adjoined to the Parlour Cafe, with a full dog menu.

When it comes to filling your days you and your loved ones can go for a stroll along the river, or visit the friendly nearby goats. However, if you wanted to venture further afield, you are close to some of Essex’s most delightful scenery. You’re also close to the historic, riverside town of Burnham-on-Crouch which has an array of restaurants, pubs and cafés for you to try.

The countryside around Burnham-on-Crouch offers plenty of activities for nature lovers and adventurers. You can explore the scenic River Crouch, perfect for sailing, birdwatching and peaceful riverside walks. The Dengie Peninsula features beautiful coastal trails, ideal for cycling or hiking. Visit the nearby Marsh Farm Animal Adventure Park, a great family day out, or discover the quiet villages like Althorne and Southminster. Don't miss the vineyards and local pubs for a taste of Essex’s rural charm.
