Craig Cottage is a cosy and beautifully appointed Highland retreat offering breathtaking sea views across Loch Torridon to the iconic Torridon Mountains. The cottage sleeps up to four guests and has wonderfully cosy interiors making it ideal for a pair of couples or small families looking to escape to the wilds of North West Scotland.
When you enter, you can gather in the lovely lounge and dining area, which serves as the social heart of the home. Get comfy on the sofas and gaze out of the big patio doors at the incredible scenery outside. On hot days, slide these doors open and step out onto your private deck and settle in on the outdoor furniture with a drink in hand as you soak up the serenity of your surroundings. When the sun sets head back inside and light the wood-burning fireplace, staying toasty and warm as you catch up with loved ones over a delicious drink.
The cottage also features a peaceful garden room – perfect as a quiet reading nook, a remote working space or an additional dining area. Watch birds visit the feeders, look out for otters in the bay or catch a glimpse of the resident pine martens going about their day.
When tummies rumble, the fully equipped kitchen has all the essentials you’ll need to whip up delicious meals for your group. There’s even a trio of coffee options - Nespresso, filter and cafetière - so you can enjoy the perfect brew first thing in the morning.
When night falls, Craig Cottage sleeps up to four guests across two bedrooms. The master room features a comfortable king size bed, while the second bedroom offers twin beds that can be converted into a super-king if needed – ideal for couples, friends or small families. Sustainably sourced linens and cosy blankets are provided, ensuring you can enjoy a tranquil and comfy night’s sleep. There are also two modern bathrooms on the ground floor – a full bathroom and a separate shower room – and each guest is provided with plush Egyptian cotton towels. A selection of hand wash, shower gel and toiletries are thoughtfully supplied, along with a hairdryer in each bedroom.
When it comes to entertaining yourselves during your stay, you’ll find it easy to spend hours on the deck gazing out at the view. However, there is also an array of other entertainment options including a smart TV, DVD player and a music system, as well as free WiFi.
You also have easy access to Scotland’s famous North Coast 500 route, meaning Craig Cottage is a perfect base for adventurers. So be sure to bring your bikes along - there’s a lockable bike shed on-site - and get out and about on two wheels taking in the stunning scenery in style. You can also hike dramatic mountain trails, try your hand at sea kayaking or take a dip in the crystal-clear waters for a refreshing open water swim. Spot otters, sea eagles and red deer as you explore nearby beaches and rugged coastlines.
Whether you're casting a line for the day's catch, teeing off on a scenic golf course or sailing across the loch, there’s no shortage of outdoor thrills. For slower days, wander through local museums or simply soak up the serenity of the surroundings.
