Just a stone’s throw from the rugged Cornish coastline, situated in the historic parish of Marazion, this property offers sweeping panoramic seascapes of Mounts Bay. Looking directly out onto St Michael’s Mount – an ancient tidal island with its own medieval castle – you’ll be wowed by the truly spectacular views of this storybook location. A recently developed extension of a family home, Bosworgy Bay was lovingly developed by designer Sean Stanford. Offering high-spec amenities and home entertainment facilities, you won’t want for anything at this tranquil getaway. The exterior is bedecked in a stylish - yet minimalist - timber, ensuring an ideal temperature within, whatever the season.
You will be made to feel right at home with its spacious, open-planned layout. The sitting area comes with two comfortable sofas from which to soak in the view; all specifically designed for your comfort and relaxation. The custom-built kitchen comes with all the amenities and accoutrements that round off a homely kitchen. Why not buy some local produce and cook up a storm with today’s catch for you and your fellow guests? Enjoy your meals at the adjoining dining area’s pine table, large enough to seat five people. The bathroom is styled to suggest a marine look and has a spacious shower with perfect water pressure. The bedroom has a cosy, king-size bed, perfect for snuggling up and dozing off to the soothing sounds of the sea.
All three communal areas look directly out onto the terrace, through four-metre wide French doors. Whether you’re lounging on the sofa, getting to work in the kitchen, or dining on a sumptuous home-cooked meal, you’ll be looking directly out onto wild oceanic views that make Bosworgy Bay so sought after. Pass through the French doors to come out onto the sheltered terrace for unobstructed views of the scenic Atlantic vistas.
Marazion is one of the UK’s oldest chartered towns and you’ll be spoiled for choice with its eateries, pubs, galleries and shops. Take a journey out to nearby St Michael’s Mount to visit the medieval castle and witness its small island community. Should you wish to explore the coast, then the larger town of Penzance is just a couple of miles along. This seaside resort has an abundance of galleries, pubs, restaurants, and places of architectural significance. If it’s urban life that you’re trying to escape altogether, then discover the wonders of the Cornish coast with a hike along its numerous cliffs or give surfing a go at Gwithian Beach.
