Sleeping ten people in five luxury ensuite bedrooms, The Admiral Penn ticks all the boxes for that special group get away. Gloriously located on the seafront and bordering the historic conservation area, you can expect wonderful views as well as cafes, restaurants and independent shops all on your doorstep. This elegant residence has it all - from sea views to breathtaking interiors, it’s the real deal.
The main living area houses a stunning copper topped bar that gives an amiable nod to The Admiral Penn’s former existence as a public house. It’s a real statement piece that truly delivers - with an ice machine, sink and wine bottle cooler. Once you’re settled with your cocktail, you can enjoy views from the bar out over the Kentish coastline. Once you’re done perching, there are plenty of comfortable chairs and a large dining table to gather round.
The designer kitchen is achingly chic - with a breakfast bar, floor to ceiling units, an intimate seating area and fabulous stone floors. This well equipped kitchen is not just for show though - with a multifunctional electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave and American style fridge freezer, it’s a real cook’s kitchen. And the Portmeirion tableware by Sophie Conran adds a really special touch.
Upstairs there are five double ensuite bedrooms all with super king beds. Each room is impeccably finished with elegant muted colour schemes, luxurious textiles and beautiful White Company bed linen. And the ensuites won’t disappoint either, with all having powerful, walk-in monsoon showers, underfloor heating and opulent Korres toiletries.
There’s also a wonderful surprise in the old beer cellar. The beer is long gone but in its place is a striking cinema room. Furnished with comfy loungers and a 65 inch HDR flat screen television, it makes for a wonderfully intimate cinema experience. And with Blu-Ray, Sky, Apple, Amazon, Google and Netflix, you won’t be short of something to watch.
Located in the centre of Deal means that there is plenty to explore. This bohemian fishing town has a fabulous history - not to mention a plethora of pubs, seafood restaurants and independent shops. And every Saturday, the town hosts a vibrant market that sells everything from cheese to antiques. For those wanting something more active, there are lovely coastal walks and three championship golf courses right on your doorstep.
