This beautiful A-fame cabin sits in a spectacular forest in Västra Götaland County in Sweden. The cabin has a cool Scandinavian interior, as you might expect, and features birch and aspen wood panelling that creates a beautiful backdrop to accompany your amazing forest views.

Sleeping two guests, the cabin offers a tranquil setting for a romantic retreat, allowing you to unwind whilst making the most of your surroundings. When you arrive, light the floating fireplace and get toasty in front of the flames as you relax with a drink in hand. Get comfy on the sofa and take in the view, or settle into the armchairs with a good book. As well as the floating fireplace, sheep wool and wood fiber insulation ensure that you stay warm all-year round.

When night falls, the cabin’s sleeping loft sits on a mezzanine level above the living area. Here you’ll find a super-comfy bed that sits next to a cute window that offers you the chance to enjoy the view whilst staying cosy under your duvet.

The cabin also offers you the chance to sit out in the sunshine breathing in the fresh forest air. Here you’ll find some outdoor seating and an alfresco dining table for enjoying hearty meals outside.

When it comes to meals, you will have breakfast included in your stay, and you can also book an all-inclusive package meaning all of your meals will be included. The cabin also offers fresh drinking water for you to make use of during your stay.

The A-Frame has a separate bathroom hut, which is situated a short walk from your cabin, and towels are provided for you to use during your stay. Other practicalities, like solar powered charging equipment, is available, alongside candle lighting for a romantic atmosphere.

Awarded Sweden’s Most Sustainable Experience in 2021, Swedish Country Living have built this collection of off-grid Hermitage cabins from reclaimed materials and they all feature a circular water system that filters greywater through the Orangery before returning it to the lake.

When it comes to filling your days, there’s lots to see and do nearby. Just a short drive away, Sörknatten Nature Reserve offers breathtaking views from the unique Knattarna Mountains. In Dals-Ed, Dalslands Moose Ranch lets you get up close to tame moose, with a shop and café to enjoy after.

Nearby, artist Kerstin Ljungkvist’s herb garden and studio showcase beautiful botanical works. For fishing, the vast waters of Lake Vänern and Svanefjorden are unbeatable. Don’t miss the historic Håverud Aqueduct - watch boats pass through the locks, explore local shops or dine by the water.
