This delightful stone cottage is set amidst the stunning natural scenery of the Llyn Peninsula in North Wales, known for its rugged coastline, rolling hills, and charming villages. Set on a private estate and nestled amongst the woods, this is the perfect spot for a family escape or a romantic getaway.
Wake up to the stunning views and set out on a long walk or explore the nearby beaches. Head back to the cottage for a BBQ in the garden and a relaxing soak in the hot tub before retreating indoors for an evening by the fire.
The cottage was once a barn and has been beautifully converted, featuring exposed beams, oak floors, a log burner and decorated in soothing pastel tones. The open-plan living and dining space forms the heart of the cottage, with its comfy sofas gathered around the fireplace and high ceilings creating a relaxed atmosphere. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need to whip up delicious meals to enjoy at the dining table or out on the patio.
There are two bedrooms, both with ensuite bathrooms. In the main bedroom you’ll find a luxurious king size bed, perfect for sinking into after a busy day of exploring. There’s a bath and a separate shower cubicle in the ensuite where you’ll also find Bramley toiletries waiting for you. There’s the option of a second king size bed or twin beds in the other bedroom, offering a bit of flexibility for families.
Outside, there’s a spacious walled garden and patio where you can play games on the lawn or rustle up a late lunch on the BBQ. You can also sit back and relax in the private hot tub and soak up the stunning views of the surrounding fields and countryside. You’re also welcome to book yourselves in for a bit of fishing on the estate’s private lake which is only accessible to guests.
If you fancy doing a bit of exploring, you’ll find plenty to see and do on your doorstep, with walking trails taking you into the countryside and along the coast and vast, sandy beaches nearby. Head to Black Rock Sands for a day by the sea or head to Criccieth with its castle ruins, independent shops and cafes. For something a little different, visit the quirky Italianate village of Portmeirion, just a few miles away. Eryri National Park is also within easy reach, with endless opportunities for scenic hikes, including the trail to the top of Snowdon.
