If you’ve ever fancied a glamping break in a cosy shepherd’s hut, than this brand new hut ticks all the boxes. It's fully connected to mains electrics, and has hot and cold water. It even has a flushing loo, yet it's in a field location so you feel off grid and away from it all.
Outside you’ll enjoy 270 degrees panorama and up to 50 mile views, and there’s a BBQ and fire pit for cooking al fresco, as well as a luxury Zoki sauna for your use.
Inside the hut you’ll find some welcome goodies and fire wood for your wood-burning stove. The hut has an en suite shower, basin and flushing loo as well as a cooker, fridge and sink with hot and cold water. A new luxury double bed divan makes a comfortable place to sleep.
You can collect free range eggs for your breakfast from the hens outside the hut. And, if the weather is cooler, light the wood burner within the hut and cook something wonderful on the gas hob, or repair to one of the many pubs and restaurants nearby. Meals can also be arranged if you would like.
Within walking distance of the hut, Newbridge Farm Park offers a great family day out for all, and a couple of miles further away, Alexander Park offers golf, spa treatments and a fabulous gym.
The area boasts a wealth of historic buildings including three magnificent cathedrals all within half an hour's drive, imposing castles - old and new and quaint towns and villages to while away a few hours. For arts lovers, there are theatres, galleries and exhibitions within easy reach.
If you feel you'd like to expend a little more energy, there are walks and great cycle routes straight from the cottage door. If you need something a little more extreme, the Forest of Dean offers some of the best mountain bike trails in the land.
There are, of course, more peaceful outdoor activities too, with fishing lakes and golf courses within striking distance.

Leave a reviewWe had an absolutely lovely stay at this little hut! The setting was beautiful and provided some much needed relaxation. Jim provided us with a welcome basket of local produce which was a lovely touch. Would definitely recommend booking for some relaxing time away!

A lovely cosy retreat. We were blessed with autumn sunshine during the day, and the wood burner kept us warm in the evenings. Beautiful surroundings with friendly neighbours (hens and sheep). Jim made us feel very welcome, and the eggs, bacon and homemade bread for breakfast were delicious.

What a great find! Everything you could wish for to get away from the rat race for a while. Charming little spotless accommodation with fresh eggs from the hens for your breakfast. The location is ideal for access to Ledbury for a range of cafes, bars and restaurants. Jim and Sarah are lovely hosts who welcome you and make you feel very comfortable.

Booked this for a weekend for my husband and I. What a treat. A shepherd's hut overlooking a field of ewes with their lambs gambolling about.....all in an April evening! The hosts are wonderful, thoughtful people whose little extras and cares make you feel so welcome. Views wonderful, very relaxing and private. Dining aldente watching the sunset very good for the soul. Plenty to see and do country, heritage and history wise and if you crave city distraction then hereford, worcester and Gloucester are not too far away. Ooh! And the bed is Sooooooo comfy with luxurious sheets and towels.
