This marvellous Cornish cottage offers groups of up to six an idyllic stay by the sea in some wonderful, scenic countryside. Located atop a 200-acre clifftop working National Trust Farm, this stylish holiday home offers you and your loved ones a fabulous base from which to explore this amazing part of the country.
The cottage is nice and remote, offering you plenty of peace and quiet, yet it’s just a quick, 20 minute walk from the charming village of Crackington Haven, which has two quaint cafes and a lovely pub. This holiday home has a stylish interior, with modern, cutting-edge features, and little touches of rural charm. You’ll love the comfy furnishings, reclaimed wooden floorboards, and winding staircases.
The four beautiful bedrooms all sit on the first floor. The master boasts a king sized bed, whilst the second bedroom has a supering bed, which can also be arranged as two singles (on prior request). Both of these rooms have lovely views across the field and are accessed via the staircase in the kitchen. The other two bedrooms are accessed via the stairs in the main sitting room. One of these is a comfy single room, which has a solid oak single bed and an optional guest mattress beneath for an additional child. The other has a welcoming king sized bed, with yet more lovely views.
There’s also a large upstairs bathroom with a pretty Victorian tiled floor, and vintage-style fittings including a luxurious deep bath tub. Then, on the ground floor, there’s another bathroom with a walk-in shower.
A great spot to socialise with your loved ones, the main living room has comfy sofas and a beautiful, grand fireplace complete with a wood burner. You can stay toasty and enjoy a glass of wine with your group long into the evening, or sit and enjoy a good book and a nice cup of tea during the day. The property’s modern kitchen has all you need to cook up lovely meals, including a big fridge/freezer, dishwasher, large oven and hob, toaster and a coffee machine. This room also has a stylish dining table with plenty of space for your entire group.
You’re situated near to the lovely village of Crackington Haven and, you’re also near to the popular surfing down of Bude. Bring your board and hit the waves before enjoying a comfy evening back at the cottage! And, as you're in the heart of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, you really are surrounded by astounding scenery everywhere you go. Enjoy windswept seaside walks, pretty sandy beaches, and breathtaking clifftop views, before sitting in a cosy seaside pub for a drink and a bite to eat.
Please note: minimum stay for this property is: 3 nights low season & 7 nights high season
