These two beautiful treehouses sit in an ancient oak wood offering couples a calming stay amidst the trees. Huge windows bring the outside in and private decks offer you the chance to sit out in the fresh Cornish air whilst taking in your stunning surroundings. During your stay you’re nestled away in a peaceful wood, with complete privacy, however, you’re also just a 15 minute drive from the wonderful town of Perranporth with its amazing sandy beach. So whether you opt for the Chui treehouse or its sibling Simba, you’re guaranteed a wonderful stay.
Both treehouses have a striking, modern design with huge windows that allow you to immerse yourself in your woodland surroundings. When it comes to windows, there’s even a skylight above the super-comfy king size bed meaning you can stargaze at night or watch the clouds scudding by in the morning.
Chui and Simba are both clad in warming larch wood and have a faux wood burner to ensure you stay nice and cosy, as well as original African artwork on the walls and some stylish furnishings.
Stepping out onto your spacious deck, you can warm yourself in the afternoon sun or enjoy your morning coffee in style. This is the ideal place to relax with a good book or eat dinner alfresco with your loved one. To the rear of each treehouse is an orchard where a wood fired hot tub sits waiting for you to hop in. This is the perfect way to unwind after a day on the beach as you enjoy the peace of the wood, with the stream flowing on by below.
Each treehouse also has a small but functional kitchen that features an electric oven and fridge, a toaster and an espresso maker for those all important morning coffees. The two treehouses also have their own shower rooms that open out onto the deck and woods, so you can enjoy a calming alfresco shower amongst the leaves.
When it comes to spending your days, you are ideally located to explore all that this part of Cornwall has to offer. You can enjoy the two National Trust beaches of Crantock Beach and Godrevey Beach, or one of the many other fabulous surf spots in the area.
You can also hire bikes at Wrinklers Wood allowing you to explore the wonderful paths, trails and bridleways around Mithian and St Agnes, staying off the busy roads.
If it’s attractions you want, the Eden Project is only a 50-minute drive away and there are some great National Trust properties in the area, including Trelissick Gardens which is only a 20-minute drive from your treehouse.
When it comes to pubs, there are some great spots nearby, including the local, The Miners Arms in Mithian, which is a 30-minute walk from your treehouse and well worth a visit.
