This gorgeous, romantic, treehouse is self contained and private with plenty of luxury amenities just perfect for honeymooners and couples wanting some quality time alone together in a stunning location surrounded by bluebell woods and nature. With treetop views and a cosy delightful living space, this unique getaway takes escapism to another level. Set four metres above the ground with a canopy of mature oak, beech and ash trees swaying before you, you'll be immediately seduced by this wonderful curved treehouse.
The inside is Nordic inspired with a fully equipped Scandinavian kitchen including a sleek black Neff induction hob and combi oven, Ekol log burner with integrated oven and hot plate to cook on. This is perfect for whipping up a feast to be enjoyed outside or sat it in front of the burner (possibly with a glass of something delicious). For evenings in, the owners have provided a Blutooth record player and a Smart TV with super fast broadband. There's also WiFi so you can upload all the fab pictures you'll want to take.
Nestled at one end of the treehouse there’s a bedroom with a feather-soft double bed dressed in Chalk and Pink Linen Company linen. There's also a glass door that opens up to your private balcony where you can enjoy a morning coffee as you gaze at the trees all around you with the vast Cornish sky above. There’s a separate shower room with a drenching rainforest shower, heated towel rail, toilet and you'll find complimentary organic handmade toiletries from nearby Trevarno Skin Care to indulge yourself.
The treehouse is set on a hillside just above the village of Gweek and borders a three acre field. You'll have your own secret clearing amongst the bluebell woods where you'll find your very own wood fired Dutch love seat hot tub to enjoy a soak under the stars with a bottle of champagne before huddling together to toast some marshmallows over the fire pit in complete privacy.
When it's time to explore, you'll find plenty of places to eat and drink in Gweek itself and further afield in Helston, Falmouth and Porthleven. From traditional pubs to modern veggie and vegan eateries there's something for everyone. The owners recommend the Black Swan Pub in Gweek which serves traditional fare and local ales and is only a ten minute walk from your treehouse. In Gweek boatyard you'll find the Boatyard Cafe which is excellent for a light lunch by the water. And if you fancy some delicious wood fired pizza get yourself to the Paddle and Basil on Friday evenings. It's a fab camper van on the village green. On Wednesday evenings you can enjoy some really good fish n chips from Sid's blue mobile van, also on the green.
There are also plenty of coves and beaches to enjoy with various activities on offer from scuba diving to wild swimming. Try Gunwalloe Beach, Poldhu Cove and Kynance Cove to get you started. All are with 15 to 25 minutes drive.
