Set on the tranquil banks of the Solway Estuary, it’s your perfect off-grid base to explore the beautiful coastlines and rolling hills of South West Scotland. As you step inside, the luxury fittings and natural tones encourage you to slow down and reconnect with nature. Spend your evenings unwinding on your deck, soaking in your wood-fired hot tub or simply sitting back with a drink and the ones you love.
Luxurious simplicity is the order of the day at the Treehouse. Natural wood and neutral tones connect the indoors with the great Scottish wilderness outside. In the colder months, your wood burner crackles and fills the space with a relaxing glow, while in warmer times, the large windows open to stunning views of the Solway Estuary and out to the Lake District beyond.
After a long day spent exploring the stunning surroundings of Dumfries & Galloway, the Treehouse is your sanctuary to return to. The small but fully equipped kitchenette features a gas hob and a small fridge that’s big enough for everything you need. In the summer months, take your culinary creations outside to the deck for some alfresco dining. The outdoor table and chairs, and the swing seat, offer the perfect place to dine or relax with stunning views. As the sun goes down, light the wood-fired hot tub and soak away the stresses of the day.
When the time comes to go to bed, a welcoming king size bed is adorned with soft pillows and luxury bedding to drift off under. The bathroom area boasts a luxurious a rainfall shower, surrounded by windows so you can be surrounded by nature when showering. Awake to the sound of wind in the trees, ready to explore the beautiful landscapes of South West Scotland.
Located just six miles south of the picturesque market town Dumfries, the Treehouse is the perfect location to explore the town and browse its range of independent shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. For lovers of the outdoors, Caerlaverock Estate sits on the Caerlaverock National Nature Reserve which boasts 10 miles of protected coastline, perfect for walking, riding and cycling. The lush, wetland habitat forms part of the Caerlaverock Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust and has a breeding pair of ospreys, as well as multiple resident and migratory birds to spot - so it's a good job the owners of The Treehouse provide you with binoculars, so you can get spotting!
