Tucked away in the heart of the historic Irish town of Bushmills, The Old Bushmills Barn is a hidden gem set within the grounds of an old rectory. Dating back to 1745, this Georgian barn was lovingly restored in 2020, transforming it into a boutique retreat that’s brimming with charm and character.
Step inside and you’ll find an inviting blend of old-world elegance and contemporary comfort. The showpiece of the barn is its stunning open-plan living area, where a lofty six-metre ceiling sets the tone for your stay. This grand living space features exposed stonework walls and a super-modern kitchen that’s as stylish as it is convenient. Perch at the kitchen island with a drink whilst your loved one prepares a delicious feast making use of the contemporary amenities and appliances.
The open plan living space also features a cosy sitting room with a fireplace where you can socialise whilst staying toasty and warm. There’s also a spacious dining area that flows seamlessly into a lounge with garden views from its balcony.
The Old Bushmills Barn exudes rustic warmth while offering all the modern luxuries you could wish for. With four beautifully designed ensuite bedrooms, every guest is guaranteed a restful and indulgent stay. The barn offers four bedrooms to choose from, two of which feature king size beds, one has a double and the last one has two singles, ensuring plenty of flexibility for different group types.
Stepping outside, the barn’s box-hedged garden provides a picturesque backdrop for morning coffee or celebratory evening drinks. And with its own private parking for up to three cars, you’re free to explore the surrounding treasures of the Causeway Coast.
Head out and visit incredible beaches for days spent enjoying windswept walks or wild swimming. Golfers can visit world-class golf courses while history buffs will love Dunluce Castle’s breathtaking cliffside ruins.
