This charming stone barn conversion offers the perfect mix of traditional features and modern conveniences. Nestled in the glorious Cornish countryside, within an easy drive of some of Cornwall’s most popular beaches, it’s the ideal place to relax, unwind and get back to nature.
With white-washed stone walls, exposed beams and an eclectic collection of artwork, The Bullpen is packed full of character. You’ll feel yourself relax as soon as you step through the front door in this home-away-from-home.
At its heart is the cosy sitting room, which is flooded with natural light thanks to the skylight window. Here you’ll find a comfy sofa positioned in front of a wood-burning stove, the perfect spot to relax on a chilly evening, and a smart TV with live streaming and on-demand viewing.
Behind a floor-to-ceiling privacy screen is the bedroom, tastefully decorated in neutral tones to help promote a good night’s sleep, and the ensuite wet room which boasts a luxurious rainfall shower.
At the other end of the lounge, two steps will take you down into the separate kitchen, kitted out with an electric oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and Nespresso coffee machine. The high vaulted ceiling gives the room a wonderfully spacious feel and the table for two is ideal for indoor dining.
Heading outside from the kitchen, you’ll find your own private garden with stunning, uninterrupted views of the rolling countryside. Here you can sit in the sun while you sip your morning coffee, breathe in the fresh country air and take in the stunning vistas. You’ll also have access to the shared four-acre grounds which include a small lake and a built-in BBQ, where you can enjoy a flame-grilled feast overlooking the water.
The Bullpen is in a peaceful location with country walks on the doorstep, yet you’re only a five-minute drive from the nearest town when you want to stock up on provisions. And if you fancy a spot of sightseeing, the cathedral city of Truro is a 10-minute drive away, while the surfer’s paradise of Newquay and the ever-popular Eden Project can be reached in 20 minutes.
Please note that the minimum stay for this property is 2 nights
