Set in a secluded valley and surrounded by the beautiful landscape of North Devon, The Barn is a Nordic-inspired retreat for two. Spend your days exploring the fairytale woodlands along the coast and the pretty seaside villages or discovering the wild beauty of Exmoor, before relaxing in your cosy sanctuary and curling up in front of the log-burning stove.
Step into The Barn’s open-plan living space which immediately feels bright and spacious thanks to high pitched ceilings, white walls and the natural light flooding through the double garden doors. These lead out onto a lovely south-facing patio area where you can enjoy your morning coffee or sit out in the back garden after the sun has set to do a bit of stargazing while listening to the owls. In the evenings, get cosy in front of the log-burning stove as you reminisce about the day’s adventures.
The beautiful decor creates a sense of calm and space, with relaxing blue tones complementing the natural wood of the exposed beams and furnishings. If you would like a food delivery direct to your door do get in touch with the owner's onsite concierge service whom can assist in getting this set up for you.
The bedroom features a luxurious king-sized bed made up with feather pillows, duvets and White Company linen. The centrepiece of the bathroom is the beautiful freestanding bathtub, the perfect place to relax after a day walking on Exmoor or exploring the nearby beaches. There’s also underfloor heating throughout The Barn, keeping you warm and cosy, whatever the weather outside.
Whether you want to explore the beaches of North Devon, the rugged open landscape of Exmoor or the picturesque coastal villages, The Barn is perfectly located to do it all. Try your hand at a new watersport, such as sailing, sea fishing or stand up paddleboarding. Or give horseriding a go along the coast.
