Beautiful balcony views over a loch in the heart of Scotland close to the Cairngorms, a peaceful escape with family or friends.
Located between the Cairngorms National Park and Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park in the heart of Scotland, Tatha View provides a wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle. This recently refurbished four bedroom property is nestled at the end of Loch Tay, Tatha meaning Tay in Gaelic, and the views over the water are stunning. Enjoy long walks along the water’s edge before enjoying a cocktail on the balcony as the sun sets over the loch or simply put your feet up in front of the fire and relax.
The house is spread over three thoughtfully furnished floors, designed to create a calming atmosphere while remaining elegant and stylish. The impressive living area opens out onto a large balcony through glazed doors, so you can choose to enjoy the view from inside or outside depending on the weather. The living area features a double-sided log burner so those who fancy some downtime in the snug next door can enjoy the crackling warmth too.
The spacious, modern kitchen is fully equipped for any culinary challenge and has everything from an induction hob and a dishwasher to a bean to cup coffee machine. You could take the cooking outside on sunny days as the balcony has outdoor dining furniture and a charcoal barbecue. There’s also a separate utility room with a washer and dryer which can come in very handy after a long muddy walk.
There are four bedrooms in total, sleeping up to eight guests. The master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with luxurious underfloor heating and a freestanding bath. Two of the bedrooms share a Jack and Jill ensuite bathroom which creates a lovely family suite if the kids are coming along too. All of the bedrooms have comfy beds, sumptuous linen and fluffy towels will be waiting for you.
Tatha View is situated on the edge of the conservation village of Kenmore, where you’ll find plenty to do and eat as well as spectacular scenery to enjoy. Wander down to the bottom of the garden, stroll through the gate and into the village and you’ll find a marina, a golf course and plenty of cafes, pubs and restaurants. There’s also a riding stable nearby and you can hire watersports equipment and head out onto the loch, or watch the splashing about from the beach. There are lots of walking routes right from the front door and, of course, there are two national parks nearby that offer even more stunning scenery.
Please note: minimum stay for this property is: 3 nights low season & 7 nights high season
