Sitting on a truly spectacular estate in Dumfries and Galloway, Symphonica is a marvellous lodge retreat offering groups of four a delightful stay. Situated all one level, this enchanting lodge sits a few steps from a marvellous hedge maze, and has special access to the estate’s historic walled garden. Add to this the impeccable interiors and amazing activities available on-site, and you’ve got the perfect base for an enjoyable break in the Scottish countryside.
The main social hub of Symphonica is the open plan living space, which features amazing murals on the walls and fabulous antique furnishings throughout. Get comfy on the sofa as you throw logs on the wood-burning fireplace or enjoy a movie night on the TV. The open plan living space also features a quaint kitchenette at the other end, which is nicely equipped with all of the amenities you’ll need to prepare delicious meals during your stay. There’s also a dining table for four off the kitchen, which sets the scene for social dinners that stretch long into the night.
When night falls, the lodge has two ensuite bedrooms, which ensure plenty of privacy and comfort. One bedroom has a fabulous double bed, whilst the other has two twins, ensuring you have lots of flexibility during your stay. The opulent ensuites feature big walk-in showers for added luxury.
The lodge also has a sun-trap terrace, offering a lovely spot to sit with a drink in the warmer months, and there’s even an enclosed garden, which is perfect for dog owners. And in summer months, fire up the BBQ and grill some delicious local produce before dining alfresco with your loved ones.
