Located on the historic Corsewall Estate in south west Scotland, Garden Cottage is a beautifully renovated property with three en suite bedrooms and far-reaching sea views.
Forming the west wing of the magnificent 18th century Corsewall House, Garden Cottage has stunning views out across Loch Ryan to the sea, and is set in over 20 acres of woodlands and gardens.
The spacious ground floor is open plan, with a contemporary farmhouse kitchen and a generous sized dining table. On arrival, you’ll find a welcome pack waiting for you, with tea, coffee and other treats including homemade brownies. The sitting room area is large and comfortable, with a wood burner style stove, a flat screen TV and sunny, south facing windows giving lovely views of the gardens. You also have digital radio, Wi-Fi and lots of games, books and films to enjoy.
Off the kitchen there's a useful separate utility room, plus a downstairs shower room and WC, perfect for cleaning up after a fun day out on the banks of Loch Ryan or wandering the Corsewall Estate.
Located on the ground floor you'll find an en suite double bedroom, while upstairs are two further bedrooms, both light and bright, and with peaceful views over the gardens. One room is a twin with an en suite bathroom, and the other a double with en suite shower room.
The cottage has its own private garden with a barbecue, croquet set and dining furniture as well as a singles tennis court situated in the gardens. Plus the beautiful Corsewall Estate with its acres of woodland, estate beach and mature gardens with lush, exotic planting is all yours to explore. The cottage is an easy stroll from Loch Ryan, with plenty of local wildlife to spot - deer, barn owls, woodpeckers and red squirrel are among the inhabitants. The estate's fun zone, with its 60ft zip-wire, climbing frame and trampoline will keep the kids busy all day, and when the sun starts to set you can head into the woods for a mini-adventure toasting marshmallows over the camp fire.
Beyond the estate's walls is magnificent region of Dumfries & Galloway, with its gorgeous coastline, historic castles and stately homes, miles of walking trails and spectacular scenery.
