Queensbury Cottage is a wonderful home-from-home in rural Dumfries and Galloway that perfectly combines rural, cosy charm with modern amenities. This stylish and nicely furnished retreat offers groups of up to six guests a fabulous base from which to explore the surrounding area. It also provides a large enclosed garden, a cosy wood-burner and amazing views of the surrounding scenery.
When you arrive, gather with your loved ones in the beautiful living room. This stylishly furnished space has super-comfy seating and a cosy wood-burner, allowing you to keep your toes toasty and warm as you enjoy a movie on the TV or chat the night away over a bottle of wine. There’s also a dining table in this space that’s ideal for social meals together or afternoons playing board games with your loved ones.
The cottage also has a fab kitchen, which has everything you need to whip up delicious, locally sourced produce during your stay. The space also has a second dining table for quick breakfasts as you plot the day ahead. There’s also a handy boot room off the kitchen for added convenience.
Stepping outside in summer, the enclosed garden offers a great place to enjoy alfresco lunches in the sun or an ideal spot for kids and dogs to play as you get comfy on the patio with a nice cuppa.
When night falls, the cottage features a large king size bedroom with an ensuite shower room on the ground floor. Upstairs, there are two super-king size bedrooms, one with an ensuite shower room and the other convertible into a twin, both offering stunning estate views and fab, comfy beds. The ground floor also includes a spacious family bathroom with a bath and overhead shower.
