Leave a reviewBeautiful cottage in the Cumbrian countryside. 4 Adults 1 child & 1 dog couldn't of had a better environment for a quiet family holiday. The cottage itself inside has very modern fixtures & fittings but still has that rustic feel with a log burner in the living room. Hot tub was amazing and kept its heat very well even in the rain. Lovely walks on your doorstep to the river & suspension bridge, with the beautiful church & grounds across it. Kitchen & dining room have everything you require along with the large kettle BBQ on the decking. Couldn't fault anything, even the communication from the owners is excellent. Hopefully will be returning at some point as my Granddaughter said why do we have to leave, she loved it probably as much as the Labrador, brilliant for dogs as well, loads of open space for your dog to roam & not worry about other dogs or people. Didn't see a sole for 3 days apart from the wildlife. Deer & Hares in the garden of a morning. Amazing place.
