Spindrifter is the perfect hideaway for couples who want peace, privacy and luxury. Set among acres of verdant farmland, this beautiful cabin has a fabulous flagstone deck where you can while-away the day, soaking in the hot tub, enjoying the views and breathing in the fresh Yorkshire air.
The interior is equally as stunning as the outside and large glass doors bring in pools of natural light as well as offering plentiful views of the lovely surroundings.
The living space is open plan with a well-equipped kitchen area which is elegant and modern but unobtrusive. Chefs will find everything they need to create delicious meals. Set the circular table-for-two, light the candles and pour the wine for cosy suppers overlooking the garden before retiring to the comfy lounge area. Settle into the elegant leather sofa with a good book or watch a movie on the large flatscreen television, or enjoy the simple romance of watching the flames flicker in the wood-burning fire.
On warm nights, pull back the large doors which open out to the garden and beyond. Grill local produce on the barbecue for al fresco dining before toasting marshmallows over the fire pit while spotting stars in the clear night sky.
And, when it's time for bed, the calming and stylish bedroom offers everything needed for a good night's sleep. Blackout blinds keep the daylight at bay, the king-sized bed is dressed in high-quality linens and has a supremely comfortable mattress.
In the morning, start the day with a hot shower in the beautiful en suite, wrap up in a large fluffy bath robe and head to the sunny terrace for morning coffee with a birdsong soundtrack.
For days out and provisions, visit pretty Leyburn, gateway to the Dales, for local produce from the weekly market, a browse round the independent shops and a spot of lunch at the recommended Sandpiper Inn or Bolton Arms.
