If you’re looking for a peaceful, romantic retreat in a modern cabin tucked away in some beautiful countryside, then Hygge Cabins is the place for you. This collection of four delightful cabins offers couples the chance to unwind in rural Northumberland close to Hadrian’s Wall.
Unwind in luxury with nature on your doorstep. The four cabins, Tisso, Mosso, Julso and Fureso are all fully equipped with everything you’ll need for a charming break. You can wake up after a wonderful night’s sleep and slide your glass doors open, letting the outside in. Then make a morning coffee in the nicely equipped kitchen before stepping outside into your own private slice of Northumberland countryside.
The kitchens in each cabin have all you need to prepare hearty breakfasts and delicious dinners, and you can dine inside at the round dining table or alfresco when the weather’s warm.
However, if you don’t fancy cooking, there’s an incredible Michelin-starred restaurant on-site. The restaurant is called Pine and serves up a beautiful tasting menu that is inspired by the flavours of Northumberland. As well as the evening tasting menu, Pine also offers a classic three tier afternoon tea with a modern twist!
Back at your cabin, you can rest up in the fresh air outside on your deck with a good book, or if it’s chilly outside, head in and get comfy on your corner sofa. Here is a great place to socialise with a glass of wine or watch a movie on the TV.
Before bed make use of the beautiful, luxury bathroom with a huge rainfall shower. You’ll also be pleased to know that the cabins are eco-friendly using renewable biomass electric heating.
Stargazers will adore the night skies here, as Northumberland International Dark Sky Park is Europe’s largest area of protected night sky and officially England’s best spot to enjoy star gazing! So make sure you get comfy with a blanket and gaze up as the stars!
When it comes to heading out and exploring the area, you’re perfectly placed to visit the historic Hadrian’s Wall. 84 miles long and nearly 2000 years old, Hadrian’s Wall is a UNESCO World Heritage Site offering a fascinating glimpse into Roman heritage. Set amidst stunning rolling hills and wide skies, it's an inspiring sight.
The nearby town of Corbridge is worth a visit too and has a large number of independent shops including a baker, art shop, traditional grocer and more. There's a charming and chirpy feel about the town, which also offers some great cafes, delis and restaurants for you to try!
