The pretty white-washed property, with its irresistible wooden balconies, is modern and well-equipped so guests can enjoy a carefree stay, the only concern being what time to have dinner.
The kitchen and sitting room are open plan and situated on the first floor so not a moment of that spectacular view is missed. The sturdy, traditional oak kitchen is full of all the modern appliances guests need to whip up a tasty dinner - and what could be a more pleasurable way to prepare a meal than watching the boats sail across the loch while dinner simmers on the stove?
A dining room is situated separately and the views ensure every meal is memorable. Patio doors overlook a decked area and out to the Loch beyond. On warmer evenings, enjoy meals al fresco and when the squalls blow in, settle down to dinner inside and let the weather entertain you from the warmth and comfort of the dining room.
Each of the three bedrooms have patio doors which lead to private areas which look out directly over the water with uninterrupted views.The two masters have outdoor dining furniture where guests can start the day enjoying breakfast in private, with only the extensive birdlife for company. All bedrooms have comfy mattresses and thick, cosy bedding. One of the masters also has a wood burner, for a romantic atmosphere on those chilly Scottish evenings.
Skye Fall is perfectly located for those who enjoy the great outdoors. Situated on the Great Glen Way, the walking trails are breathtaking while anglers will enjoy spending time fishing the freshwater Loch. Of course, visitors would be forgiven for simply relaxing on the deck and taking in the sights and sounds of this spectacular location.
There is a good restaurant a short walk away, The Lochside Brasserie, serving fresh seafood. The Old Station at nearby Spean Bridge is situated In a former railway station and specialises in Scottish meats and Lochaber fish.
