Pentrehobyn Hall is the perfect grand getaway offering large groups an opulent place to stay on a gorgeous manor tucked away near Chester. A magnificent Grade I listed Jacobean Manor, this spacious home has large social areas whilst remaining comfy and cosy throughout. Whether you’re looking for the spot for a big family reunion, a milestone birthday or an intimate gathering with friends, this amazing home is the one for you!

The property has been steeped in history since 1540, and provides an enchanting backdrop for your stay. As you enter you’ll be impressed by the huge oak-panelled central hall, before you make your way to your rooms to drop off your belongings.

Enjoy lavish feasts in the superb, grand dining hall, which features a giant, ornate table and antique furnishings. After dinner enjoy a drink together in the equally impressive drawing room which has super-comfy sofas, a wood-burning fireplace and some incredible artwork on the walls. Light the roaring fire and settle in for an evening of sharing stories or come here first thing to plot the day ahead.

When it comes to meal preparation, you have the flexibility to self-cater in the fully-equipped kitchen, but you may wish to indulge in bespoke menus crafted by the in-house caterers, that you can pre-book.

Stepping outside, Pentrehobyn Hall offers you some magnificent, sprawling grounds to explore. You approach the property down a tree-lined drive, surrounded by 100 acres of land belonging to the Estate to provide complete privacy. There are three acres of gardens within the house’s surrounding stone wall and there is also a fantastic south-facing Victorian walled garden with a central lawn. The land around the house leads down to the picturesque River Alyn.

Back inside, as night falls, you can head to one of four elegant double bedrooms and four bathrooms on the first floor, or head up to the second floor, which offers three more beautifully appointed bedrooms. Two of these can be configured as twins if required, and there are also two additional bathrooms on this floor. All of the rooms feature exquisite beds, with some offering comfy sofas for lounging and delightful views of the lush surrounding grounds. The bathrooms offer a combination of lovely bathtubs for indulgent soaks and modern showers.

The home is so large and comfortable, that you may wish to spend all of your time socialising here. However, if you did want to venture out and explore there’s lots to see and do nearby.

Pentrehobyn is situated in North Wales, and within easy distance of Snowdonia National Park with its rugged scenery, waterfalls and trails and routes up Mount Snowdon. Guests can also enjoy the wealth of visitor attractions near the home, including castles, stately homes and the world-class Theatre Clywd. You are also within easy distance of the Roman city of Chester, and Liverpool is just an hour’s drive away.
