In a stunningly scenic corner of Croatia, Mirabilis House is a 4-bedroom villa with a style all of its own. Just over an hour north of Split, this atmospheric pad in Bribir comes with a pool, a Mediterranean garden and a whole lot more.
A beautiful house in an inspiring location, Mirabilis House looks out towards the sea and the Bribirska mountains. Its outdoor space is impressive, with plenty of covered places to dine while taking in those incredible views, and perhaps enjoying a pizza from the huge wood-fired oven.
A beautiful swimming pool lies in sight of the main house and is the perfect place to relax on a sun lounger and really admire what makes Croatia special. Look out too for the gazebo, an orchard and more than 200 species of plants growing in the gardens.
Inside, you’ll find 4 impeccably styled bedrooms, with much of the furniture hand-made, giving this place some real originality. This continues throughout the villa – check out the eye-catching dining table and swivel chairs, the wardrobes, armchairs and wooden floors. There’s no doubting Mirabilis House has been made with love, and is packed full of character. The kitchen, featuring a delightful range, marble sink and chunky wooden units is one-of-a-kind too, and the bathroom demonstrates the owner’s enviable eye for design detail. An archaeological hotspot, the village of Bribir is a 15-minute drive from the popular beaches of the riviera town of Crikvenica whilst the capital of Zagreb could be a day-trip at just over two hours drive. Whether you’ll feel the need to venture that far is another matter, but there’s certainly much to see and do. The old town of Novi Vinodolski, on the Adriatic coast, is a popular choice for some regional heritage, in fact, whatever you seek in Croatia, it’s likely to be there.
