Tucked away in the beautiful countryside of Italy’s Marche region, this historic villa provides a relaxing escape surrounded by greenery. After a day exploring the nearby medieval towns and vineyards, unwind on the veranda and enjoy the view as you sip a glass of local wine. You might fancy a refreshing dip in the pool or even a session in the sauna before dinner out on the patio where you can soak up the scenery.
This pretty villa is named after the ancient mulberry tree that stands near the entrance and is surrounded by aromatic plants and trees, connecting you with the region’s beautiful natural landscape. Step inside the villa and you’ll find a spacious interior packed with character and plenty of rustic details, such as exposed brick walls and wooden beams. You’ll be able to rustle up delicious meals or just some snacks for an afternoon by the pool in the well-equipped kitchen. When it’s time for dinner, choose between eating at the large dining table inside or out on the patio surrounded by the greenery.
On the ground floor of the house, you’ll find a sauna, perfect for unwinding after a day’s exploring, as well as a gym. Head upstairs to find the large living room with a lovely fireplace and spectacular views over the hills. There’s also a study just in case you need a quiet spot to catch up on a few things or somewhere to get stuck into a good book. The first of the bedrooms is on the first floor with a comfortable double bed and a spacious bathroom complete with a hydromassage bath, double sink and a shower. The second bedroom is a vast space, under the eaves on the second floor, with a double bed and two single beds, and stunning views over the surrounding countryside. There’s also a bathroom on this floor with a shower and WC.
If you fancy getting out and exploring the local area, you’ll find plenty to see and do. The villa is located just 1.5km from the charming town of Ostra where you can pick up some fresh local ingredients to cook back at the villa. The area is known for its wines and you’ll find tours and tastings available at the local vineyards. You could head out into the countryside on a truffle hunting experience, go horse riding in the hills or get a bird’s eye view of it all from a hot air balloon. The coast is also just 15km away and you’ll find plenty of beaches with long stretches of golden sand and beautiful turquoise water.
