Nestled within an ancient olive grove tucked away in a tranquil Umbrian hillside, Palare is a sanctuary of tranquillity, light hearted fun and natural beauty. This peaceful glamping retreat is a place where time slows and nature takes the lead. Designed for those seeking rest and reconnection, this collection of three fabulous glamping tents offer you the chance to sleep in comfort under canvas, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the wild.
The owners of La Palare have a set of wonderful core values that ensure guests are able to relax and unwind in true peace. The values - presence, peace, playfulness and possibility - guide the owners’ decision making on-site, creating a holiday retreat where you can be at one with nature whilst not taking life all too seriously.
Days at Palare can be as relaxed or invigorating as you choose. Sink into the refreshing embrace of the natural biopool, soothe your senses in the wood-fired sauna or take an exhilarating plunge into the ice bath. Then, when night falls, retire back to one of three beautifully appointed glamping tents - one for two guests and two for up to four.
Each tent is thoughtfully designed for comfort, featuring plush beds that can be arranged as singles or doubles upon request. Each bed is lovingly dressed in seasonally appropriate linen and blankets, ensuring you and your loved ones have a peaceful night’s sleep no matter the weather. Soft towels await, along with complimentary organic treats like natural soap, a delicately scented room spray and a candle to take home as a reminder of your stay.
Gentle lighting sets the mood alongside mobile lanterns, which you can use to navigate the site at night with ease. There are also power sockets available and a Yeti cooler box is on hand to keep drinks chilled, whether for lazy afternoons on-site or picnics further afield. For those who love to stretch and unwind, a full set of yoga mats, blocks and bolsters is also provided and the panoramic yoga terrace invites you to greet the day in style. The fragrant Mediterranean garden is the perfect setting for quiet contemplation and when it comes to meal times, you and your loved ones can cook up a feast in the modern Clubhouse or fire up the outdoor wood-fired BBQ for an alfresco dining experience under the stars.
Other activities available on-site include zip lines, table football and table tennis. For adventure lovers, there are motocross bikes for both adults and kids, as well as e-bikes for exploring the area. You can also treat yourself to a private yoga class, personal training sessions or a soothing massage. Enhance your experience with a private chef, wine tasting, truffle hunting or cooking lessons.
Venture beyond the grove, and you’ll find yourself immersed in the rhythms of real Italian life. Enjoy an aperitivo in the village square, sampling local delicacies as the sun sets, before dining in one of the many nearby restaurants. Palare is just a short drive away from the iconic towns of Assisi, Perugia, Gubbio, Cortona, Arezzo and Lake Trasimeno - perfect destinations for immersing yourself in Italian culture and indulging in delicious local cuisine.
