Luxury is the key word in the south of France and that is no different at Villa Cannelle, a stunning and spacious holiday home near Cannes. This marvellous villa has lush green gardens and a private pool, offering guests plenty of peace and quiet in which to relax and unwind.
As soon as guests enter this wonderful villa in the village of Mougins they are greeted by a wonderful entrance hall and gorgeous views towards the Esterel Mountains. There are high ceilings and large windows allowing light to flood into the open plan living space, which is complete at one end with long leather sofas and a TV. Original art pieces are sympathetically dotted around the property, leading down to a dining area with a table seating eight people. Then there is the long bar which flows into the fully equipped kitchen, which has Miele ovens, plate warmer, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, dishwasher, two fridges, and a separate fridge freezer unit.
Also found on the ground level are three of the bedrooms, each with their own private terrace. The first can be used as a single bedroom or study, the second can be either a twin or king size and has an ensuite shower room. Next is the master suite, superbly complemented by a Japanese-style ensuite with deep bath and wet room. Upstairs there is a further single and a double bedroom, each with their own ensuite shower rooms, plus the shared family bathroom. The upstairs bedrooms have access to a pretty terrace with stairs leading down to the pool area. Next to the family bathroom you'll find a mezzanine level, accessible from the top floor, which can be used as a study and also has a single day bed, the perfect spot for an afternoon siesta.
Villa Cannelle is set in its own secluded gardens, meaning guests are not overlooked when enjoying the swimming pool. There is extensive terracing and the beautifully kept exotic garden beyond that. Further entertainment is provided by the baby football table, table tennis table and pétanque court. Leading from the kitchen is a terrace with pergola overhead and outdoor table and chairs for alfresco dining. This can be prepared on the top of the range plancha.
Mougins itself is an historic village and is home to many art galleries and restaurants. Meanwhile, Cannes is only a 15 minute drive away and guests are also perfectly situated for exploring the Cote D'Azur and Provence.
