Nestled on the outskirts of the small Cornish town of Mawgan Porth are these four eco-friendly cottages; named as one of The Independent’s top 50 UK breaks. Sitting at the end of a private wooded lane and just a short walk to a peaceful, golden sandy beach, they are perfect for escaping the holiday crowds with family and friends.

The properties have each been finished to a high standard and have wonderful countryside vistas and a contemporary, stylish design. All with underfloor heating, luxury Hypnos beds, wood-burners and walk in showers.

All cottages sleep four people and have 2 bedrooms.

Constantine, Porthcothan and Harlyn cottages have living rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows offering incredible countryside views from inside. Their added eco-friendly credentials and luxury design make them a real five-star treat in the Cornish countryside.

Trevone cottage is an impressively spacious barn conversion all on one level. Detached from the other properties it provides that little bit of extra privacy and has a large lawned garden which is great for the kids.

All properties are child and baby friendly and come well-stocked with range of little extras, from change mats to baby baths, to help make things easier if you're travelling with small people. To make life even more relaxing you can order up an in-house spa treatment, and get the shopping sorted with a delivery of fresh local Cornish produce direct to your cottage.

And at just a short walk from the cottages, the enchanting golden sands of Mawgan Porth beach will not disappoint. Reached via a scenic wooded lane, the beach is ideal for romantic strolls or fun with kids and is just one of five stunning beaches to be found within five miles of the site. In addition to this, there are an abundance of breath-taking countryside and coastal walks to be enjoyed, along with surfing, horse riding and fine dining delights.
