Attention to detail is the name of the game with this fantastic 5 star luxury accommodation in the Lake District. With three stunning ensuite bedrooms and a lovely Scandi-style split level open plan living area it would be just the thing for a family or group of friends looking to relax in opulent surroundings.
Gather in the living area for a welcome drink and marvel at the delightfully cosy but elegant furnishings. A large, plush corner sofa bedecked in cushions and a comfy armchair is the perfect place to enjoy a first drink. Subtle art and well placed plants and ornaments provide a homely vibe and the high wood burning stove will keep everyone warm and content on chilly evenings. The room is flooded with light but there are electric blinds if you fancy nestling in and watching a movie. And with the Sonus surround sound you'll feel like you're at the cinema.
A few steps down and you'll find an ultra modern fully-equipped open plan kitchen with state of the art Neff appliances and sleek countertops, perfect for the chef amongst you. Whip up a delicious feast and settle in at the long table nook for a lazy supper with fine wines and intimate seating.
All of the bedrooms are equally lovely with one king size located on the ground floor and a king size and super-king on the upper ground floor. The beds are extremely comfortable and bedecked in beautiful Egyptian cotton with opulent blankets and soft pillows. Every room has a smart TV if you fancy a lie in, and three ensuite bathrooms with complimentary toiletries, heated towel rails and stunning modern design means no one has to share and you can luxuriate at leisure in the morning. Two of the bedrooms boast large rainfall showers and the third has a deep tub with a shower above.
In the morning you can take your first coffee on the decked rooftop terrace or head down to the perfectly manicured lawn. This south-facing garden is a perfect sun trap and comfortable rattan furniture makes it a lovely spot to start the day or enjoy some alfresco dining with stunning views of Lake Windermere as your backdrop.
You're perfectly placed to explore the area on foot, and it's a lovely place to take a stroll being less than 200m from the shores of Lake Windermere. Charming streets full of independent shops, quaint cafes and traditional pubs will keep you entertained and a boat ride on Lake Windermere will bring you back to nature and stun you with its tranquil beauty.
For the more active among you there's plenty of fantastic walks to enjoy or you can hire a bike and cycle along the lakeside paths, a wonderful way to see the surrounding nature. Visit the Beatrix Potter museum and Blackwell House – a memorable Arts and Crafts masterpiece, or simply enjoy some of the finest dining in town.
