Situated close to the southerly tip of Lake Coniston and five miles from the idyllic Coniston village, this modern retreat for eight offers a relaxing break in the peaceful Lake District.
This contemporary lodge is sleek and stylish from the outside, and when you step inside, the bright and modern interior is sure to please. The open plan living area is the heart of the home, with huge windows that overlook the surrounding scenery, connecting you to the Lakeland countryside. Get comfy on the big leather sofas with a drink in hand or perch at the kitchen island and keep your loved one company as they whip up a feast. The kitchen is wonderfully equipped with high-spec, top-of-the-range appliances that makes meal preparation a joy. Then, when dinner’s ready, dine on the table in the living space, that sets the scene for long social dinners.
This fantastic living area opens up onto an amazing 300sq ft south-facing deck, which offers the perfect place to unwind in the summer sunshine. Grab a drink and get comfy on the sofa or sun loungers, breathing in that fresh country air and chat the day away with your nearest and dearest. There’s also a second incredible patio area, complete with a BBQ and fire pit – the ideal spot to dine, unwind and soak in the stunning surroundings.
When night falls, head back inside and head to one of the four superb bedrooms. Designed with ultimate privacy and relaxation in mind, the four luxurious bedrooms each offer individual underfloor heating and System-line audio. Three of them even have their own HD TVs.
Two of the bedrooms feature spacious ensuite bathrooms, while a large family bathroom and an additional washroom ensure ample space and comfort for all guests.
Visiting Coniston Water and its surrounding countryside offers a picturesque escape into the Lake District.
