Perfectly private, the detached retreat of Broom Hill is brimming with contemporary comforts indoors and out. This recently converted boutique home boasts a multitude of sumptuous living and sleeping spaces, comfortably accommodating eight guests in four luxury suites. The perfect space in which families can come together and yet also enjoy quiet time apart. The double ceiling height offers the feeling of grandeur and space with three separate lounge areas to accommodate all your group’s needs.

Open-plan style meets contemporary chic in the property’s sociable communal spaces. The Garden Room is modern, unique and dreamily cosy, a room you will retreat to time and time again. Snuggle up on one of the comfy sofas by the warmth of the stove, glass of wine in hand or break out the board games and reconnect with loved ones over a favourite game.

Opening up from the Garden Room, the open-plan dining area boasts views out to the trees and countryside. Enjoy family feasts, casual breakfasts and a game of cards at the enormous oak table, with its lush leather chairs, starting your holiday adventures with a freshly brewed cup of coffee served up by the Nespresso coffee machine. The sociable breakfast bar offers another spot in which to sit back and swap stories of the day’s adventures on the fells. For those who enjoy unleashing their inner chef whilst on holiday, this kitchen is perfectly provisioned, with two separate large fridges and a freezer, whilst Neff appliances offer top-quality reliability. Serve up snacks for the family, whilst still being part of the action.

The Snug provides a quiet space to hunker down and enjoy your favourite family movie or simply take a seat in the upholstered bay window seat and watch the world go by over the stunning Winster Valley.

All four luxury suites boast the best quality Tempur mattresses and luxury bedding to offer the perfect sleep at the end of a busy day. Three bedroom suites with super-king beds are situated on the first floor and one with a king size bed is conveniently located on the ground floor, offering flexible space for all generations. Making the most of glorious views, each of the upstairs suites has a Juliet balcony with two of the suites looking out to the Winster Valley and a quaint farmhouse and duck pond nearby. Each ensuite is uniquely styled yet sympathetic to the local area with its slate grey sleek tiles.

Patio doors connect the decking and swim spa to the Snug. Where better to relax and unwind than beneath the gentle sway of the canopy of trees and starlight above? Perfect for large families, this swim spa is a luxurious and very spacious hot tub experience. Enjoy a pre-dinner dip before settling down for a delicious alfresco dinner in the spacious seating area, with comfortable cushions and a beautiful table. The garden also accommodates a handy shed where you can store up to four bikes or paddleboards, handy for your ventures a few minutes down the road to Lake Windermere.

The refuge of Broom Hill is only a five minute drive from the bustle of Bowness and its water sports, bars and restaurants. A cyclist’s mecca, wend your way along the many bike trails, catching the ferry over to the other side of the lake to continue your explorations whilst taking in the sublime scenery. Delight the children with a visit to the World of Beatrix Potter attraction, browse the boutique shops and refresh and revive in the cafes, bars, restaurants, and pubs.
