You'll find these cosy lodges nestled in the picturesque countryside of Mid-Wales with stunning views of the Radnorshire hills. In the morning you'll wake up to the sounds of the birds in the trees and plenty of peace and quiet. Spend your days exploring the beautiful Welsh countryside or simply soaking it all up from the comfort of your private hot tub. In the evenings, put your feet up in front of a roaring fire in the log burner and plan the next day's adventures.
There are two lodges, Forest View Lodge, named after the nearby woodland, and Valley View Lodge. They have both been thoughtfully furnished to give each its own character. In Forest View Lodge, you'll find warm colours and woodland motifs that create a cosy and inviting atmosphere. Valley View Lodge has been decorated with a rustic, Wild Western feel in mind with bold colours and prints throughout. Both have plenty of space for up to four guests in two comfy bedrooms, making them perfect for romantic escapes or small families.
Inside each lodge, you'll find a spacious, open-plan living and dining space with sofas gathered around a log burning stove for cosy evenings in. On warm days, open the French doors out onto the terrace and enjoy that fresh countryside air. Choose between eating at the dining table indoors or outside on the patio furniture while taking in the stunning views. There's a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to whip up delicious meals during your stay and a dishwasher to help with the clearing up.
Outside, each lodge has a private hot tub under some cover so you can use it whatever the weather. They're perfectly positioned to take in the breathtaking views over the surrounding valley during the day and the sky will come alive at night as you relax and do a bit of stargazing. There's a fully enclosed garden surrounding each lodge, making it safe for children and dogs to play freely on sunny days.
If you can tear yourselves away from your peaceful hideaway, there's plenty of exploring to do in this scenic part of Wales. Get your bearings with a stroll along the Fishpools Trail, starting at the lodges and offering views of Bleddfa, the old battle site of Pilleth and the Lugg Valley along the way. You can head out into the enchanting Radnor Forest, a former royal hunting ground and follow the trails on foot, by bike or on horseback. Venture a little further afield and explore the spectacular Elan Valley, known for its stunning reservoirs, dams and picturesque landscapes.
