Tucked away in a secluded field on a working farm, you'll find this snug and sustainable shepherd's hut retreat. With an outdoor copper bath, underfloor heating and rolling 360 degree views of the Shropshire countryside, Holly Bush Hideaway is a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
The route up to Holly Bush Hideaway takes you through the fields of a family-run farm in south Shropshire and up to a tranquil hilltop meadow with a little pond. It's a peaceful and private location away from the workings of the farm - it's just you and miles of panoramic country views.
Step inside the shepherd's hut and you'll find a cosy home-from-home, equipped with ensuite bathroom, kitchen area, comfortable bed and everything you could need for a relaxing rural break.
Start your day with breakfast and a proper coffee from the cafetiere, as you plan the day ahead. Wake yourself up with a hot shower in the neat ensuite bathroom, stocked with eco-friendly Miniml toiletries.
After a busy day out exploring the surrounding countryside and historic towns, Holly Busy Hideaway is a lovely little haven to come back to. On warm evenings get the BBQ going and sizzle up some delicious local produce. When dinner's ready the outdoor dining area is a gorgeous spot for a meal with a view. And for pudding toast marshmallows over the fire. Afterwards, relax tired limbs with a luxurious long soak in the two person copper bathtub, as the stars come out overhead.
On chilly nights get cosy inside with the underfloor heating, the crackle of the wood burning stove, a glass of red wine and a game of chess. The kitchenette has everything you need to rustle up dinner, with a gas hob, fridge-freezer, kettle, toaster and combo-microwave oven.
The comfortable double bed with its heavy weight goose-down duvet and feather pillows ensures a deep and restful sleep, and you'll wake up refreshed and ready for the next day's adventures.
There are miles of walking trails and footpaths all around the farm. The Clee Hills surround, a beautiful landscape of wildflower meadows dotted with ancient hill forts. Pack a picnic and walk the Shropshire Way, or tackle Brown Clee, Shropshire's tallest hill. Nearby Ludlow with its old buildings, castle and independent shops, restaurants and pubs is a great place for a day out.
