You should know
- Both cottages have two bedrooms sleeping four, and accommodate two more guests on a sofa bed in the lounge.
- No pets unfortunately.
- Laundry room available.
- Please bring your own swimming towels for the pool.
- Travel cot and high chair provided, please bring own bedding.
- Reception closes at 5pm - if arriving later please let them know so they can arrange key collection.

Heron One and Heron Two are lovely wood-beamed cottages both sleeping six guests. Or, if you hire them together the site sleeps 12. With one self-contained accommodation on the ground floor and one accessed via an outdoor staircase, they would be a great choice for a multi-generational family holiday, or a large group of friends seeking a tranquil getaway in gorgeous Wales with plenty of entertainment on site.
Both cottages are light and airy with lots of windows letting in the sunlight. The cottage in the eaves boasts skylights too. They have open plan kitchen, dining and living areas with comfy sofas and both have flat screen TV's for movie nights in, and plenty of room to relax, unwind and maybe play some board games.
Both kitchen's come fully equipped with everything you could need to cook a family meal for six to share at the dining table. But if you wanted to enjoy some food with everyone from both cottages you can make use of the fantastic BBQ and picnic area on the lovely communal site.
Both of the Heron's have similar sleeping arrangements with a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a double sofa bed in the lounge. The rooms are made up and cosy, with crisp bed linens and warm duvets for everyone, including the sofa bed. Enjoy a peaceful night and wake up with the wonderful countryside on your doorstep.
Both cottages have a family bathroom with a deep bathtub and shower overhead where you can freshen up before breakfast.
The cottages are surrounded by lush valleys and forests with many beautiful walks and cycle paths to explore. On the site itself you'll find a tennis court, a private fishing lake and a Pitch & Putt golf course, ensuring that there's something to keep everyone entertained. One of the most popular features is the indoor heated swimming pool and sauna that's open all year round. It's a fantastic way to start your day and will also keeps the kids happy. There's an outdoor castle play area for the munchkins too.
The area is truly tranquil and you might choose to just spend your days sitting by the lake with a good book, enjoying a picnic in the pretty valley or firing up one of the BBQ's and cracking open a cold beer.
You'll be within easy travelling distance of some stunning locations including The Elan Valley and Claerwen Valleys, Brecon Beacons, Devil's Staircase and Four Falls Water Falls. If you'd like to head out for a meal the hosts recommend The Trout Inn in Beulah and the Cosy Corner, Café & Restaurant (at night) in Builth Wells.
