Halula Beach House is situated a short walk from the famous beach and surf-town of Newquay. A peaceful place to stay and filled with coastal charm this is an ideal spot for families made up of multiple generations. Make the most of the beach during the day and then in the evenings catch up with loved ones or head out into town to enjoy the bars and restaurants of Newquay.
This colourful and vibrant property has plenty of style. It has a fabulous outdoor living area which includes an outdoor bar, bench sofas, lots of brightly coloured bean bags and sun loungers. However, the highlight is a heated swimming pool and hot tub. So, arrive back from the beach, shower off the sand in the heated outdoor shower, mix a cocktail and relax by the pool.
Step off this decked area and through bi-fold doors into the open plan living/dining/kitchen area. Guests will love cooking in one of two modern, well-lit, well-equipped kitchen. The huge doors ensure cooks can prepare dinner whilst socialising and meals can be enjoyed at the large dining tables, perfect for long breakfasts or just hanging out and relaxing.
Large, deep armchairs and sofas occupy the sitting area and wall mounted flat screen TVs provide the entertainment for those wanting to enjoy a quiet night after long days on the beach.
The decor is beachy, and vibrant colours and funky wall paper contrast with the tastefully muted wall colours and floors. The house is ideal for large gatherings, it sleeps 24 in ten bedrooms which all have their own, Cornish-related, theme - including the Campervan and the Nautical. The funky colour scheme has been incorporated in the children's bedrooms but for the adults, to ensure a relaxing and restful sleep, the colour scheme is mutes greys and off-whites.
The beaches of North Cornwall have become synonymous with long stretches of golden sand, grassy dunes and pounding surf. And nowhere embraces the laid back vibe of the surf scene more than Newquay and the glorious Fistral Beach. Every year thousands of visitors flock to watch some of the world's best surfers tackle some of the UK's biggest waves and enjoy the surf social scene that comes with it.
Beyond the property, there is plenty to keep everyone entertained, whatever age. Surf lessons are very popular and surf schools are based on the local beaches. For eating out, try The Lennick Lodge for great views and simple, fresh seasonal produce, or head out to nearby Mitchell for a pub lunch at The Plume of Feathers. Fistral Beach offers something for everyone from Rick Stein at Fistral to pizza at The Stable.
