Deerstone Domes are the first of their kind in the UK and all six are as stunning inside as they are to view dotted across the landscape. Nestled in over 80 acres of glorious countryside on the Yorkshire and Lancashire border, they would make a wonderful and memorable holiday stay for couples seeking a one of a kind glamping experience. Or, why not book more than one dome (they each sleep two) and bring the whole family or a group of friends?

When you arrive you'll find that pretty much everything is catered for, all you need to bring is some food and wine. It couldn't be more simple. You'll be greeted at the car park and taken to your dome in a buggy with your luggage.

Each beautiful dome comes with a mixture of double, bunk or single beds and are as cosy as can be. With rugs on the floor, a wood burner with a kettle for chilly nights and a gas burning stove you'll feel snug and warm in your dome with a view. All the bedding and towels are included so no need to pack the car to the roof and you'll find a mini fridge and cooler box to keep your food and drink chilled. Drop your bags, fix a drink and find yourself a rattan chair or egg shaped seat to simply bask in the view and the tranquility. Each dome has electricity so you can charge your phones but you may want to just switch them off and immerse yourself in nature. Keep an eye out for the deer’s running wild, the rabbits bobbing and the pheasants strolling about!

Five of the six domes come with a hot tub where you can languish with a glass of fizz and watch the stars come out. If you're bringing kids there's a fantastic two and half acre field where they can run wild and you can set up any games you fancy. Enjoy a BBQ alfresco before settling down around your own fire pit with some marshmallows.

When it's time to sleep you'll find each dome has blackout curtains if you require full darkness. Alternatively leave them open and wake to a stunning sunrise you can enjoy from the comfort of your bed.

In the morning you can head over to the communal showers and toilets which are extremely luxurious and full of style and character.

There's a communal area where you can make a cup of tea or coffee and chat to the other glampers as you wash your crockery and enjoy a bacon butty at one of the picnic tables or on your own private decking.

You can enjoy a full and exciting day without ever leaving the site and if you have a passion for machinery the hosts might just give you a tour of the site in a tractor or buggy!

One of the domes is set up as a cinema for a fun night of popcorn and movies and if you want to re-energise your mind and body you can book a barrel sauna and cold plunge! Enjoy a picnic in the fields or head out and explore on foot or bike. Whichever direction you head you'll be surrounded by stunning scenery. And when you return you can fire up the pizza oven, open a bottle of wine and dine in utter peace.

As well as your private fire pit there is a larger communal fire providing guests with an opportunity to mingle with each other, share stories, enjoy a drink and do a little star gazing.

For a day out head to the quaint towns of Barnoldswick and enjoy their selection of pubs, cafes and shops. Thornton Hall Farm is just five minutes away by car and holds regular events including live music. And for a great historic market town make the short 15-minute drive to Skipton, stroll the cobbled streets and have a good rummage at the market stalls before stopping in at the Turkish Cafe.
