The first ever UK treehouse to be built on a vineyard, Damselfly offers an idyllic woodland setting on Fullerton Farm. Far from juxtaposing its woodland backdrop, the minimalist aesthetics of Damselfly blend in seamlessly with its wild surroundings. Perfectly positioned in the heart of Hampshire, it offers a fantastic base from which to explore some of southern England's most attractive countryside. Should you wish to remain on site, then Fullerton's 1000-acres of farmland, woodland, and re-wilded country is replete with beautiful walks, neighbouring wildlife, including a herd of deer. The farm even has its own vineyard. Sleeping a maximum of two guests, this promises to be a couple's retreat to remember.
Constructed using the finest materials and with a keen eye for detail, the treehouse would not look out of place in an interior design magazine. High quality timbers, vaulted ceilings and floor to ceiling glass doors all add to the treehouse's contemporary air. The open-planned living area has a comfortable couch pointed at the cosy wood burner, a four-seater dining table and a well-equipped kitchenette. The bedroom houses a king size bed, and the bathroom has a sink and toilet, with the shower being outside of the treehouse. There are a couple of outdoor decking areas, one of which contains covered seating while the other boasts an outdoor bath with views over the adjacent vineyard. This is an idyllic spot to enjoy a soak whilst taking in your surroundings.
If Fullerton Farm's 1000-acres is not enough land for you to explore, then you're ideally situated to enjoy the beautiful countryside of Hampshire and beyond. With a varied geography and stunning scenery, the county is a firm favourite with walkers, cyclists, and nature lovers alike. It also contains two national parks, the New Forest and the South Downs, both of which are well worth a visit. If you want to reacquaint yourself with urban life, then the town of Andover is just a 10-minute drive from Fullerton Farm. You will find the pretty cathedral city of Winchester to the south, which once served as England's first capital. The cities of Southampton and Portsmouth are also to the south, both of which are university towns known for their shopping and vibrant night life.
