Situated in the Scottish Highlands, at the edge of Culbin Forest on the beautiful Moray Coast, you’ll find this marvellous retreat. This beautifully furnished home oozes rural charm thanks to its beautiful oak floors and calming colour palette. Tucked away amidst pine trees, you and your loved ones can relax on the deck watching the wildlife going by or while away hours in the hot tub with a glass of bubbly in hand. This stay has one bedroom, making it perfect for a romantic retreat, but the sofa-bed in the lounge can also sleep two guests, meaning it can accommodate up to four in total.
Inside, Culbin Edge has a bright and spacious living room where you can get comfy on the sofas with your loved ones as you gaze out of the window at the amazing scenery outside. And if the weather’s warm, step out onto your private deck and soak in the tranquility of your surroundings as you sit on the swinging chair with a good book. When night falls, light the fire pit and toast marshmallows over the flames as the stars come out above.
You also have your own private wood-fired hot tub, which offers you the chance to indulge in a relaxing soak whilst gazing out at the view. The hot tub is an optional extra which is available at a slight added cost.
Back inside, the kitchen has everything you’ll need to prepare lovely meals during your stay and you can dine inside or alfresco whilst breathing in that fresh Highland air.
Then, when bedtime beckons, you can enjoy a perfect night’s sleep in the superb master bedroom, which has a super-comfy king size bed and floor-to-ceiling windows meaning you can wake up to enjoy a lie-in with a view.
If there are four of you travelling, then two will spend the night on the fold-out sofa-bed in the lounge. For added privacy, the lounge can be partitioned off at night.
When it comes to exploring your surroundings, Moray offers a variety of activities for outdoor enthusiasts. You can visit stunning beaches, ranked among National Geographic’s top 12, or enjoy scenic walks and bike rides along the coastal trail from Forres to Cullen. Wildlife lovers will delight in watching dolphins at Chanonry Point.
For a more relaxed day, visit Brodie Castle and enjoy a peaceful picnic in its beautiful grounds. Moray’s combination of natural beauty and outdoor pursuits makes it a perfect destination for all.
