Spacious and decadent seven bedroom self-catering villa on Scotland's Argyll coast with indoor pool, sauna, and private beach
Right on the Argyll coast, with broad sea views and substantial private grounds, Crispie House is an expansive home which sleeps up to sixteen guests in a range of gorgeous bedrooms. An historic and stunning property, Crispie House is the perfect getaway for larger parties of friends and families looking to spend some time on the tranquil and private Crispie Estate.
Arranged across two floors, and abounding in high-end amenities and luxuries, Crispie House boasts a large indoor pool, as well as a private beach, and ample outdoor space. A visual treat to behold, Crispie House is a former dormer house manor with an exceptionally generous lawn which slopes down to the shore where a powerboat is moored at the jetty, free for you to use (experience and seasons permitting). Also included in the grounds is a badminton set and a number of picnic tables.
Inside the house, the ground floor boasts a pool, full games room, and spacious, high-tech kitchen. The first bedroom is also on this floor and is set up with twin single beds, and benefits from an en-suite bathroom and views of the woods behind the house. From the games room, with its pool table and table tennis table, doors lead out onto the terrace, and to the pool room. Also coming off the games room is the sitting room, a comfortable and cosy space with soft sofas, armchairs and splendid views of the glittering loch. Recline with one of the many books in this room, or sit back in front of the flat screen television after a long day out on the water.
Four of the bedrooms are on the first floor. Two of these benefit from extraordinary views and double beds, sharing a bathroom between them. The other two also share a bathroom, and are set up with a double bed and a versatile double/twin single adaptable bed respectively. The remaining two bedrooms are accessed via the pool room, coming off a landing above the pool. They are both set up with three singles, and look over the pool on one side, and the coast on the other. These two share a bathroom also.
The Crispie Estate and surrounding countryside are a paradise for the outdoors, enthusiast, with hiking, swimming, cycling, and kayaking all offered nearby. This a magical and untouched part of the world, with bright stars overhead, a placid and beautiful coast, and a diverse range of birds and mammals. This hidden gem offers a range of excellent eateries, ranging from authentic local pubs to fine dining establishments specialising in local game, salmon, seafood and single malt whiskeys.
