This gorgeous, hand-crafted cabin for four has been lovingly built creating a simple yet beautiful space in which you and your loved ones can unwind. Tucked away on the edge of the Somerset Levels and Moors, Craftsman’s Cabin has its own patch of meadow amidst the county’s famous ciderland. Offering beautiful views and a cosy interior, this cabin is perfect for your next romantic retreat or holiday with friends or family.

Inside, the cabin has everything you’ll need to relax and unwind. The cabin’s open plan living space features a neat kitchenette in one corner and a rustic dining table with space for four. The kitchenette has a full-size cooker and an induction hob, so you’re nicely equipped to whip up a hearty breakfast or a delicious dinner. And if that first coffee of the day is important to you, you’ll be delighted to know that you also have a stove-top coffee maker at your disposal, as well as a kettle and a toaster. Dine on the table inside, or take your meals alfresco on the fabulous terrace.

The terrace has a table for four as well as some lovely wooden rocking chairs where you can sit with a good book whilst taking in your stunning surroundings. To top it off, the deck also has an outdoor bathtub, which offers yet another amazing spot to relax and unwind in peace. The bath is the perfect place from which to enjoy the sunset with a glass of bubbles in hand! You also have a firepit outside, meaning you can stay toasty and warm in the evening, toasting marshmallows and enjoying a nice cup of hot chocolate.

Back inside, and the lounge area has a snug sofa in the corner that sits next to a wood-burning fireplace to keep you nice and warm inside. There’s also electric heating, so you’ll be nice and warm whatever time of year you visit.

When bedtime beckons, there are two lovely bedrooms on offer. One is a generous space with a king size bed, and the second bedroom is a small room with a standard sized double bed tucked up against the wall. There’s also space for an additional travel cot if you’re bringing an infant. The cabin also has a nice bathroom with a rain shower and a mains loo.

When it comes to filling your days here at Craftsman’s Cabin, you may just wish to relax and unwind in your peaceful surroundings. While away hours sitting on the terrace enjoying the view, or hopping in the bath for an indulgent soak. You also have a DAB radio, a Bluetooth speaker and a number of books and games on hand to keep you occupied.

If you decide to venture out, you’re nicely placed to visit the marvellous Somerset countryside. The Somerset Levels are well worth exploring and offer a range of great walking routes as well as a chance to see glorious murmurations of starlings. You can also go for a boat trip and meander along the River Parrett setting off from Langport, which is a really wonderful way to see the Levels and Moors.

The owners recommend the Wyndham Arms for a great drink in an authentic Somerset pub, whilst the Barrington Boar is a great option if you fancy some amazing food with your drinks. And after a day out exploring the area, you can arrive back at the cabin and relax in peace, watching the sun set with your loved ones for company.
