The living area, set on the ground floor, is cosy and characterful, featuring a sofa, footstool, armchair and a wood-burning stove, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. There's also a Smart TV with Freeview for your entertainment.
The traditional-style kitchen is located on the ground floor and includes a ceramic sink, gas oven and hob, fridge, toaster, kettle and a Krupps pod coffee machine. A selection of cutlery, utensils, cookware, crockery, mugs and glasses is provided for your convenience. Please note, the coffee machine uses Nespresso-compatible pods, which guests will need to supply themselves.
Accessible from the kitchen, the utility area includes a sink, washing machine, small freezer, iron, ironing board and vacuum cleaner. The kitchen also features a dining table and chairs, perfect for enjoying meals together.
Bedroom one, located on the first floor, is furnished with a double bed, bedside table, reading lights above the bed, a wardrobe, mirror and chest of drawers for storage. Bedroom two, also on the first floor, contains a single bed and a hanging rail for clothes, providing a simple and comfortable space.
Set within a short stroll of the town’s seafront, galleries, shops and harbour, it’s a lovely place for you to base yourself as you explore the local area, its beaches, coast path walks and landmarks. Though small, you’ll have everything you need to be comfortable including a pretty kitchen / diner, two bedrooms, a family bathroom and a cosy lounge with its wood-burning stove for the cooler months.
Recently touted as one of Cornwall’s trendiest up and coming coastal towns, Newlyn’s food and shopping scene doesn’t disappoint. Restaurants like Mackerel and Sky Seafood Bar (though seasonal) and Tolcarne Inn are well worth popping into for delicious dishes made from fresh, locally sourced ingredients and if you love shopping indie, there are places like The Cornish Delicatessen, The Strand Vintage Store and the Helen Feiler Gallery for art and jewellery. Nearby lie the towns of Penzance with its fabulous lido, Mousehole and Marazion, all within easy reach by car. For a lovely way to see the coastline, hop aboard The Lands End Coaster bus service between Penzance and Lands End, which has stops at St Ives, Sennen and Marazion to name a few.
