Located in southern Spain, just 10 minutes from the beautiful hilltop town of Vejer de la Frontera and close to several beaches, this stylish house is perfect for couples and families. The house has been designed with the scenery in mind with floor-to-ceiling windows showing off the surroundings in the open plan living space and the main bedroom. You can also enjoy the spectacular views of the countryside and mountains from the large terrace where you can spend long, lazy afternoons in the Spanish sunshine. The location, close to beautiful beaches and picturesque hilltop towns, is perfect for exploring this part of Spain.
Step inside and you’ll find that the interior feels bright and spacious thanks to those big windows stretching the full width of the open-plan living space. There is wood paneling on the walls and ceiling which helps the contemporary style of the building fit in with the natural surroundings and air conditioning to keep the space cool. There’s a kitchen with all the basics to get you started, including a four ring hob, a fridge freezer and a microwave. The kitchen island helps divide the space up and you’ll find the dining and living areas set right in front of those big windows, perfect for enjoying the view.
There are two bedrooms sleeping up to four guests in total. The main bedroom has a double bed and glass door stretching the width of the room so you can enjoy the view in comfort. The second bedroom is a bunk room, making it suitable for two children. The bedrooms share a family bathroom with a shower and you’ll find fluffy towels waiting for you.
The house is set on a large plot of land, surrounded by nature and there are plenty of trails and routes taking you out into the surrounding countryside. If you fancy a day at the beach you’ll find yourself spoilt for choice with the golden sands of Zahora, Caños de Meca, Barbate and El Palmar all nearby. Exploring some of the towns and villages you’ll stumble across in the hills above the coast is also a must. Start by heading to Vejer de la Frontera which sits on top of a small hill, surrounded by groves of oranges and with views of the Straits of Gibraltar.

Leave a reviewWe stayed in the apartment for almost 2 months and really enjoyed the time. The apartment was perfect for us two but is probably also good for more people. We loved the floor-to-ceiling windows, which created a very cozy atmosphere.
