Hosting guests for almost 50 years, the Bonnie Barns – Inchcailloch, Inchmurrin and Creinch – present an idyllic retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life in the midst of Loch Lomond, Scotland. With all three properties positing cosy, romantic retreats for two, the Bonnie Barns are the perfect location for time out for two spent amidst hot tubs, rainfall showers and stunning scenery.
All of our Bonnie Barns Sleep two, hosting a sizeable ensuite bathroom with a rainfall shower, sink and WC. All kitchens are fully equipped with a modern two-ring induction hob, microwave convection oven and fridge freezer, posing a homely space in which to unwind and cook up a delicious meal to be enjoyed either indoors or alfresco. Tea, coffee, sugar, soap and hand sanitiser are included across all properties, alongside a 43” TV, hairdryer, linens, towels and fluffy white robes.
The Inchailloch is dog-friendly, furnished with a doggy welcome pack including poo bags, towel and treats and an outdoor doggy shower. Meanwhile, the Inchmurrin Bonnie Barn similarly sleeps two, boasting modern, pastel-style interiors and sleek wooden decking. The indoor seating area promises snapshots of the gorgeous Scottish exteriors, perfect for viewing the sunset from the cosiness of a king-sized bed. Finally, the Creinch Bonnie Barn operates on a blue and grey colour palette, similarly offering a decadent two-person hot tub, TV and cosy sofa apt for enjoying film nights.
Nestled amidst Loch Lomond, Bonnie Barns is a hub for an array of watersports activities from jet-skiing to kayaking. Apt for nature lovers, there are mountains, cycle paths, forests and more to be explored, with the scattering of islands accessible via a boat trip. The Loch Lomond Bird of Prey Centre hosts a variety of British birds alongside species from across the world, presenting falconry activities.
Similarly, the Loch Lomond Sea Life Centre wields an exciting day trip for the entire family with a range of underwater creatures to visit and rock pools to explore. For outdoorsy visitors, the Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park present hill walks and trails, including the picturesque views from the top of iconic Ben A’an and Conic Hill.
