This lovingly decorated cottage is tucked away in a peaceful slice of Perthshire countryside in the beautiful Tulliemet Valley. Sleeping four guests in two bedrooms, this tranquil retreat is located on a lovely estate and is ideal for couples, groups of friends or families.
Inside, the cottage has a calming, welcoming atmosphere, and features antiques from the estate collection as well as contemporary artwork on the walls and designer fabrics throughout.
Get comfy in the living room on the big sofa or the armchair, whilst gazing out at the view. This is a lovely spot to settle in with a good book or an evening tipple as you throw logs on the wood burning fireplace to stay toasty and warm. There’s also a TV here for movie nights or catching up on your latest series.
You and your loved ones can also whip up a delicious feast in the nicely equipped kitchen, which also features a classic farmhouse-style dining table with space for your whole group. This is the perfect spot to enjoy hearty dinners that stretch long into the night. However, if the sun is shining outside, then why not take meals alfresco on the outdoor dining furniture, meaning you can eat in the sunshine whilst taking in the view?
Your peaceful, enclosed garden is a lovely spot to unwind in when the weather’s warm. You can sit out here and enjoy the amazing view before heading in for a wonderful night’s sleep in one of the two charming bedrooms. One of these is a double room and the other is a twin, offering nice flexibility to your stay. Blairinraish East also has a lovely family bathroom with a bathtub, should you fancy an indulgent soak after a day hiking the surrounding countryside.
When you're ready to venture out, be sure to explore the stunning Tulliemet Moor, a designated area within the Forest of Clunie SSSI. This natural haven is perfect for wildlife enthusiasts - look out for ospreys, lapwings and curlews, along with deer, otters and even beavers that have made this area their home.
Perthshire's countryside is brimming with activities. Wander through the magical woodlands of Tay Forest Park or take in the breathtaking sights from the iconic Queen’s View overlooking Loch Tummel. For a splash of adventure, kayak on the tranquil waters of Loch Rannoch or Loch Tay, and challenge yourself with a hike in the Ben Lawers range for spectacular views. Don’t forget to visit the enchanting Falls of Bruar and the historic Blair Castle for a taste of local heritage.
