If you're in need of an escape from city life, then look no further than Arfor. Perfectly positioned just two minutes from the beach in the pretty seaside village of Abersoch, this unique bolt hole offers peace and relaxation in one of the UK's most beautiful regions.
Arfor is just across the road from the golden sands of Abersoch beach, and also makes the ideal base from which to explore further afield into North Wales and Snowdonia National Park. Although if you'd rather just kick back and put your feet up, not to worry, Arfor has all the luxurious home comforts you could possibly need. From the sun-trap rooftop terrace with sea views, to the cosy wood burner, staying put for a lazy weekend has never been better. Sleeping five guests across three rooms, this Gwynedd gem is ideal for families with older children, and small groups of friends.
The interior is a stylish blend of rustic charm and contemporary aesthetics, with a light, bright colour scheme creating a crisp and airy atmosphere. White painted stone walls are perfectly complimented by high-spec modern features and well-chosen vintage furniture.
The lower floor living room has snug seating gathered around the cosy wood burner and large smart TV. The modern kitchen comes fully equipped with all mod cons and big sliding glass patio doors which open out into the lower deck. This private outdoor space comes with table and chairs, plus outdoor rainfall shower, perfect for washing the sand out of your ears after a day at the beach.
Just beside the kitchen is the beautiful family bathroom, complete with black tiles and a free-standing bathtub just made for long, relaxing soaks. There is also a separate WC. Two of the bedrooms are also on this floor: one with a double bed and the other with a three-quarter size mezzanine bed. Head upstairs to the master suite where you will find a king size bed, an en suite with a large rainfall shower, and the outdoor roof terrace - perfect for enjoying the sea views.
Abersoch is small but vibrant seaside community with gorgeous beach, stunning coastal views and a variety of shops, cafés, and restaurants all making it a firm favourite of locals and out-of-towners alike. For those who enjoy an escape from urban living, the surrounding countryside is filled with walking trails, cycling routes, and stunning vistas. Just a short drive eastward will take you to Snowdonia National Park. Housing the UK's highest peaks outside of Scotland, this historic region of Wales is famed for its picturesque scenery and hiking paths.
