Enjoy sweeping views from this luxury yurt on a raised platform with private swimming, boating pond, and a woodburning stove.
In the heart of the Shropshire countryside, overlooking a private swimming pond with a boat which is free to use for the duration of your stay, After the Gold Rush is an expansive yurt set on raised stilts. Benefitting from a decking style platform and with all of the high-end amenities you’d expect from a glamping destination, this is a seriously romantic getaway for those looking to spend time in the natural world without compromising on luxury.
After the Gold Rush can sleep up to four people between its double bed and fold out sofa bed. A wood-burning stove will keep you toasty regardless of the season, and a cooking area with a two ring burner means you have everything you need for a cosy night in with a bottle of wine, either sitting at the four chair table inside, or taking your meal out to enjoy from the timber deck as you watch the sun set over Shropshire.
For those with more ambitious or social culinary plans, there is an open air kitchen shared with the other yurts on site, where you can find everything from washing up liquid to coffee. In addition to this food preparation area, there are table tennis tables, badminton courts, and bathroom facilities there as well, which are shared between yurt guests.
Being on the Walcot Estate, After the Gold Rush is tucked into a truly beautiful rural idyll, with bird-rich meadows, picturesque trees, and even historical architecture all right on your doorstep. For those who want to leave behind the bustle and strife of urban activity, this is the dream spot, where it is impossible to feel stressed in such a restorative and pleasing paradise.
