This unique hostel is set in a former Boeing 747 jumbo jet, right next to Stockholm’s Arlanda Airport. A free airport bus will pick you up from the terminals and whisk you back to your unusual room for the night.
Inside the plane you’ll find a suite in the converted cockpit with a panoramic view of the airport, or choose from rooms that can accommodate one, or up to three adults in comfort, or there is a quad dormitory bed option if you’re travelling as four.
All rooms at Jumbo Stay have a flat-screen TV, free Wi-Fi and either a private or a shared bathrooms. A communal balcony is located by the cockpit and offers long runway views. Towels, bed linen and cleaning are included in all room rates.
If you’re making an early start breakfast is served from 03:00am onwards. Coffee, cookies and meals can also be purchased on board, and drinks can be bought at the fully licensed bar. A microwave is also available for guests’ use.
For the best view of the airplane and of the taxi-runway walk along the left wing observation deck and experience the feeling of standing on top of a real Jumbo Jet’s wing.

Stockholm Arlanda Airport is the main travel hub in Scandinavia. It has more than 23 million passengers that fly in and out of Arlanda airport each year. There are five terminals, one shopping mall, SkyCity and plenty of transportation opportunities.
Airplanes of course, and from the airport you can also take the train into Stockholm and to the north of Sweden. There are also buses and great parking facilities. All major car rental companies are at the airport. From Jumbo Stay you can reach the centre of Stockholm within 25 minutes by train or you can reach Uppsala, which is only 25 minutes to the north. The major cruising ship harbours for Silja Tallink Line, Vinking Line are also only 30minutes away.
