Designed to blend in with nature, these four unique spaces, sleeping two or three people, are nestled in a peaceful wood within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Delightfully free from traffic noise and light pollution, you can star gaze on a clear night, listen to owls hooting as you drift off to sleep and wake up to a chorus of birdsong. Whether you’re on a romantic retreat or a solo escape, the wild, natural surroundings provide the perfect place to unwind, reconnect with nature and enjoy an outdoor adventure to remember.
Camping Cabin is a cosy, wooden cabin with a comfy double bed, wood-burner, electric hob and fridge. Outside, on the secluded veranda, you’ll find a wood-fired hot tub where you can relax and breathe in the fresh, country air. The cabin also has a private, open-air shower on the outdoor deck and a separate toilet.
Peaky Blinders fans will love the Gypsy Caravan with its accompanying bath house. This is an atmospheric wagon with a king size bed and single raised platform bed. Featuring a wood-burner, kitchenette, covered outdoor dining area and hot-water shower under an oak tree, the show stopper here is the bath house. Located in a separate structure, opposite the caravan, the double ended bath for two boasts water jets and a glass roof so you can star gaze as you soak.
The Traditional Yurt is a great choice for a couples' glamping experience. Standing on a raised platform, the yurt has a wooden floor, proper front door and a comfy king size bed. Just outside you’ll find a full kitchen, under cover so you can cook whatever the weather, a hot shower under the trees and a separate toilet. There’s also a private garden with a hot tub, surrounded by ancient woodland.
The final choice is Hideaway Hut, nestled under a canopy of trees. This homely space has a king size bed, indoor kitchenette, wood-burner, hot-water shower and an unusual stone spiral toilet. Outside you can sit in quiet contemplation, gazing out over your tranquil surroundings, or enjoy a luxurious soak in the private hot tub.
Located on the crest of a hill between the Wye Valley and the Forest of Dean, Wyes Workshops is perfectly placed for woodland rambles, mountain biking and walks along the River Wye. The popular Offa’s Dyke Footpath is on the doorstep and the village of Tintern, with its famous abbey, is nearby.

Have you stayed here?
Leave a reviewWe had the best time! Booked for my boyfriends birthday, hosts were both super helpful and friendly. It was a very wet weekend that we booked and the host made us shelter outside, which we sat and played boardgames under very much applicated so that we could have a dry space to relax outside. The bath tub was wonderful. Pancake breakfast was a lovely touch. The host also helped with my booking to go canoeing down the River Wye. We would love to return again and recommend to anyone looking for somewhere unique to stay.
