Set in 27 acres of beautiful rolling hills and woodland, with mountains to the south and beaches to the north, this is a wonderful rural retreat for those looking to unwind. Located near Wales’ north coast and close to Snowdonia, you’ll find spectacular scenery in every direction. The accommodation itself is a private cottage wing of Gyffylog Farmhouse with its own entrance and pretty terrace garden. Wake up in a luxurious super king-size bed to mountain views and spend your days exploring the stunning landscape. Return to your cosy hideaway for a dip in the hot tub before putting your feet up in front of the wood-burning stove.
The cottage has a bright, spacious interior, flooded with natural light through the big French doors and windows facing the mountains. The decor is inspired by farmhouse chic and it has an open plan layout which adds to the sense of space. In the sitting room area, you’ll find a big comfy sofa and an armchair in front of a wood-burning stove. Behind this, you’ll find the kitchen and dining area with French limestone flooring and beautiful views from the table. On sunny days, open the French doors and take your meals out onto the terrace.
The super-king size bed is complete with Egyptian cotton bedding, a Hungarian goose down duvet and you’ll even have a choice of pillow firmness. There’s an additional double and single bed available if required. The bathroom features luxurious underfloor heating, a bath, shower and twin sinks.
Outside, you’ll have the terrace garden to enjoy with its stunning views out over the rolling hills and to the Carneddau mountains in the background. Sit back and soak it all up from the outdoor sofa seating or you’re free to explore the grounds. You’ll encounter sheep wandering through the fields, mini waterfalls, streams and a natural plunge pool.
If you feel like venturing a little further afield, there are some beautiful walks directly from the farm which take you out into the surrounding countryside. For some more challenging routes, head to Snowdonia National Park and tackle some of the mountains. For a more laid back adventure, head north to Colwyn Bay Beach which also has a promenade with several cafes.

Leave a reviewWonderful holiday home, our family of 4 felt very welcome and relaxed during our 4 night stay. It's cute, quaint, peaceful with breath taking views. The huge fireplace and wood fire hot tub made us feel really cosy, especially on wet days. Lots in the local area. Couldn't recommend enough. Thanks for having us!
